Example of Plagiarized Work

JOHNNY CASH

John R. Cash or known as “Johnny Cash” was a well-known singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, and an author. He sold approximately 90 million records worldwide. Furthermore, he released a song in 1955, called “Folsom Prison Blues” which was taken and plagiarized from Gordon Jenkins’ “Crescent City Blues”, the opening lyrics are identical, and it also uses the same melody.
